Safeguarding
At St Alban's Catholic High School Safeguarding and Child Protection are regarded as the single most important aspect of each person's role. We adopt a culture of safeguarding and believe that it is important that every member of staff, student, parent and governor work together to look after the wellbeing of our students.
If you feel that a young person is at risk, or is the subject of abuse, you should contact a member of the Safeguarding Team.
Safeguarding Team
Name | Role |
Mrs A Harries | Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mrs H Arthur | Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mrs M Bush | Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mr M Baker | Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Members of staff with a safeguarding concern should complete a referral form which will be dealt with by one of the team.
When raising a safeguarding concern or an allegation of abuse against a person working with Children and Young People (up to the age of 18) please inform the Headteacher immediately in person, or the Deputy, if the Headteacher is not present.

St Alban's Early Help Offer
At St Alban's, we offer a range of services to support young people and their families during their time at our school. Our Early Help offer shows the various support we have in place in school. We recognise that different students have different needs, and our Early Help offer is not a 'one size fits all' approach.
There may be times where we feel that further support is needed, and we may signpost to external support or make referrals to external agencies as appropriate.
You can find our Early Help offer HERE.
